Peel Veterinary Clinic Ltd is an established practice (founded in 1948) treating dogs, cats, rabbits and other small mammals. The website describes in-house diagnostics with same-day results where possible, plus medical, surgical and ambulatory (including home visit) services. Out-of-hours care is transferred to Vets Now. In the latest reviews available to us, owners highlight longer consultations (one mentions a 40‑minute ear infection consult with prevention advice and antibiotics) and clear cost breakdowns before treatment; a minority describe a distressing euthanasia experience during building works due to noise and lack of a quiet space.
4.6 stars from 222 reviews. - Time and explanations in consults: one owner specifically valued a ~40-minute appointment for a double ear infection, with prevention advice and treatment arranged (review).

My poor baby cockapoo has an ear infection (both ears) nice to have a paid consultation with a vet that lasted 40mins (rather than 2 mins), with some great advice (prevention technques) and anti-biotics which I dont have to apply daily myself from a team of professionals getting involved. Thank you!!

We had to put our dear dog Chunky to sleep this week after a traumatic but brief period of her suddenly becoming seriously unwell. This is my first experience of having my dog put to sleep as my other dog died naturally at home. What can I say but a massive ‘Thank you’ to all of the team who were so kind and compassionate from start to finish…not only the vet but also her assistant (I’m sorry, I don’t know her official title but she had dark hair) who gave Chunky primula cheese as a treat and Chunky lapped it up…wished I’d known she loved this so much earlier! 😊 This vets is fantastic, the price is broken down for you and explained before they go ahead but most importantly they really care. 😘❤️

Building Works where been done inside the Hornsea vets so all appointments were been temporarily entrance around the back in an outbuilding The surgery was in the same room where as their animal holding cages and even though the vets tried to put a temporary screen up in that same room , it was still distressing for me to try and comfort my cat whilst putting him to sleep with a loud barking dog just few meters away. I knew my cat would have hated that and unfortunately that was my last memory I had with my cat so not a nice ending . I understand possible nothing could be done but in hindsight I should have asked if the vet could have found somewhere quiet in the surgery where they could have put my cat down . If I thought his ending would have been like this I would not have put him down there and travelled to another vet in hull .

My Guinea pig had stopped eating. I rang the vets and registered with them. I was told to bring him in straight away. He then had a dental op 2 days later. Very good service and after care. Guinea pig is now back to normal.
