Beverley Vets4Pets

I recently moved from Sheffield and into the Beverley practice area. I'd previously been a Vets4Pets customer in Sheffield so it was only natural to continue on in Beverley. The registration process was effortless and booking a routine vaccination appointment was equally as effortless. The ladies at the front desk made me feel very welcome upon my arrival and when booking the appointment they advised that I could even wait outside in my car and just telephone to say I was waiting and they'd call me back when it was time to go inside. Whilst booking, I'd expressed that my cat absolutely hates going to the vets and always ends up salivating and shaking in fear. They were VERY good and offered my cat a tasty calming treat to tempt her out of the cat box. She didn't flinch or cry she just made friends with the new calming treat givers and the whole experience was ultimately effortless and stressless. This made me feel so much calmer and happier as previously, in Sheffield, the process wasn't as smooth and the person ended up taking my cat away to be put on oxygen instead of hurrying up and letting us go. I've only been here the once but, I can't recommend this place enough, they're the only place where we've both not left in shellshock. I'm extremely happy and grateful 🥰🥰🥰 and will be a customer for life, if only my cat could live as long as I😢

First class vets ,cant do enough

We recently had to lose our elderly dog Oscar and I can't commend this vets anymore, their compassion and treatment of us all on the day was exemplary and made things as easy as they could, they even sent us a card afterwards. Really top level service and care from all of the staff.

I was very disappointed with the service I received at this Vets in 2021 when I took my cat for an appointment at the Beverley Vets4Pets, as I was a loyal customer there for 12 years. When I arrived at the surgery, I parked in the car park and called to confirm my arrival, as requested. The receptionist thanked me and said someone would come out shortly to ask me to bring my cat for its appointment. At that point, she did not advise that the usual vet was doing operations and that another vet was receiving appointments, nor any possible reason for a delay in seeing the vet. As no-one came to my car, I called 10 minutes later to check if we would be called in soon. I was told there was no way of knowing how long the vet would be, which I said I was unhappy about. The receptionist advised me to go home and come back later if that's the case! She said goodbye and put the phone down. I then went to the surgery, but the door was locked as three receptionists stared at me. I had no choice but to return home with my cat. About 30 minutes later, the vet owner of the practice called me to ask about the problem. I described what had happened, but she defended her staff's behaviour by saying that they had said I was impolite. No resolution was therefore offered which meant my cat’s care needs were unmet.

We switched vets for the last few months of our old dog's life and the difference was stark. I only wish we had found Vets4pets in Beverley, earlier in his life. The care he received was exceptional including managing to clear a chronic ear infection that he'd had on and off for nearly 2 years! The care and kindness he received right up to the end was outstanding. Whether you phone or visit the reception team are always friendly and helpful. First class service. Thank you.
